Statistics are showing us that through the years our children watch more TV, walk to school less and suffer increasing obesity rates. There are several initiatives to encourage healthier living and there are movements within the school system and from the community to support this. It is important to recognize the initiatives move well beyond issues of weight and size. We value the wellbeing of our children and of our community and hope some of this information will encourage and support your efforts to improve the quality of life of the children in your life.
