Good nutrition is just as valuable to health as is physical activity. A healthy lifestyle involves both. For more information and resources about healthy eating, Health Canada's website is a valuable resource.
Thrifty Foods: Chefs on the Run and Nutrition for You
In partnership with local community centres and the University of Victoria, Thrifty Foods is sponsoring a series of free Nutrition for You seminars throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland - developed and presented by registered dieticians and the Springwell Nutrition Group - to help people in all age groups learn the basics of healthy eating. This program is an important part of Thrifty Foods' 30th anniversary commitment to give back by contributing to a healthy community.
